The tournament concluded at the legendary Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, where Germany was crowned champions after defeating Argentina in extra time with a goal by Mario Götze, earning the fourth star in their history.
Nike was the brand that sponsored the highest number of squads with 10, followed by adidas with 9 and PUMA with 8.
Brands such as Italy’s Lotto, Spain’s Joma, Germany’s uhlsport, Qatar’s Burrda, and Ecuador’s Marathon also had one representative each.

Qualified for the Round of 16: Brazil and Mexico

*Brazil also launched a dark green jersey that was only intended for retail.
GROUP B
Qualified for the Round of 16: Netherlands and Chile

*Spain made its debut in this World Cup wearing a special white jersey based on the home design. This was due to a FIFA request because both main kits were dark and a clear contrast was needed to avoid a “kit clash” against the Netherlands.
