All French Ligue 1 Champions (1933 → 2026)

A historical journey through every team that has won the French top-flight title since the inaugural 1932/33 season.

Paris Saint-Germain Football Club was crowned five-time consecutive champion of Ligue 1 after winning the 2025/26 edition, thus adding the fourteenth star in its history.

The Parisians are the main protagonists in the last fifteen editions, where they claimed 12 of their total trophies thanks to the significant investment of a Qatari group that brought great figures to the team since taking control in 2011.

Ligue 1 has the particularity of a wide distribution of champions, with a total of 19 clubs, highlighting that several of them had significant dominance over a short period of time.

Highlights include Lyon’s spectacular run of seven consecutive titles (2002/2008), this recent run of five consecutive titles by PSG (2022/2026), and three runs of four consecutive titles: Saint-Étienne (1966/1970), PSG (2012/2016), and Olympique de Marseille (1989/1992).

One trophy less Marseille would have 10 as they won the 1992/93 season. However, that championship was annulled due to match-fixing, and they were relegated.
