Juventus remains the great dominant force with 36 “scudettos” that could have been two more if not for the scandal that rocked the calcio (Calciopoli) between 2004 and 2006, resulting in the revocation of the titles they had achieved in 2004/05 (season without a champion) and 2005/06, which went to Inter, also leaving the Turin side in Serie B.

With this latest consecration, the Nerazzurri of Milan strengthen their hold on second place, leaving their classic rival, AC Milan, on the third step with 19.

Stars: each club is allowed to embroider a star above its crest for every 10 championships won.

Much further behind appear teams that dominated in the first decades of calcio, such as Genoa (9), Bologna (7), Pro Vercelli (7), and Torino (7).

SSC Napoli, thanks to its recent titles, is positioned with 4, while AS Roma has 3, and Fiorentina and Lazio have 2.

Rounding out the list of champions with 1 trophy are Cagliari, Casale, Hellas Verona, Novese and Sampdoria.
