The UEFA Champions League, Europe’s most important club-level competition, began in the 1955/56 season and in 71 editions already completed, a total of 24 teams from 10 different countries have managed to win it.

Spain’s Real Madrid heavily dominates with 15 titles, of which six were won in the last eleven years.
In second place appears Italy’s AC Milan, which lifted the trophy for the last time in 2007 but maintains its advantage over England’s Liverpool and Germany’s Bayern Munich, which both have 6.
In 2023, England’s Manchester City joined the exclusive list, and in 2025, France’s Paris Saint-Germain won the competition for the first time.
Regarding the countries, Spain is the most successful with 19 titles to its name thanks to the conquests of its two most renowned teams: Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. It is followed by England with 15, Italy with 12, and Germany with 8.
