All FIFA Women’s World Cup Logos (1991 → 2027)
A retrospective look at the emblem designs of the premier tournament in women’s international football.
We take a journey through the evolution of the FIFA Women’s World Cup logo, from its debut in China 1991 to 2023, which marked the first edition hosted by two countries (Australia & New Zealand).
In its early years, the championship featured designs with a unique style and a fairly simple appearance characteristic of the era.
By the 2007 edition, its visual identity became aligned with other FIFA tournaments, featuring a rectangular format and graphics inspired by the host nations.
In 2019, the trophy emerged as the central protagonist, and in 2023, the design returned to a rectangular style with retro vibes, potentially marking a new era for future logos of championships organized by world football’s governing body.
Starting in 2027, a design similar to the men’s version will be used, featuring the actual trophy at the center alongside two letters with multiple meanings: “W” for Women/World, and “M” for Mulheres and Mujeres/Mundo in Portuguese and Spanish.
