Premier League History: Every Champion (1993 → 2025)
A review of every champion of the popular English tournament since its inception in the 1992/93 season.
Since The Football Association (The FA) created the Premier League, a total of seven clubs have shared the 33 editions that have been played.
Manchester City, thanks to their titles in recent years, has consolidated second place in total championships, trailing only Manchester United, who secured all of their trophies under the guidance of the legendary former manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Chelsea ranks third with 5 trophies, Arsenal sits in fourth place with 3, while Liverpool completes the top five with 2 titles.
With a single trophy each are the two greatest surprises in the tournament’s history: Blackburn Rovers and Leicester City.
This competition replaced the Football League First Division in the early nineties following a major restructuring of English football.
